Aya Tower offers both one-bed and two-bed apartments from the 2nd Floor up to the 9th Floor. Each home is equipped with new energy star appliances. In addition to stair access, there are two elevators for ease of mobility within the building. Spacious shared laundry facilities are located next to the elevator lobby on Floors 2, 5 and 8.

Built in 1974 as “Nelms House”, the existing high-rise has long defined the East Point skyline. Vacant for years and near demolition, the East Point Housing Authority stepped in and—with partner the Vecino Group—brought it back to distinction as housing for the community. Part of this rebirth is the seven-story, public-facing artwork celebrating an individual who helped set the course for the community’s growth. Mayor Patsy Jo Hillard—first female and first African American elected to this role in both the City’s AND the State of Georgia’s history—watches over East Point, sharing optimism through a favorite quote and her trademark smile.
